<p class="smf1">Sculptured Marine Fittings Ltd manufactures high quality
marine fittings which are functional and beautiful. <br>
The company has developed a unique process for the casting of individual
or small run fittings. This process can best be described as 'Customised
Investment Castings'. These can be made in any shape required by the yacht
designer. Castings can be made from impressions taken off the boat, the
designer's drawings or the boat builder's patterns.<br>
All products are made from 316 or 2205 stainless steel castings ISO 9001
approved. That is, they are made from high tensile and non-rusting, marine
grade stainless steel. Castings can be solid or hollow and polished to
a mirror finish.<br>
Ray Haydon is a sculptor; with his artistic flair he creates sculptured
marine fittings which have elegance and utility.</p>

<p class="smf1">Sculptured Marine Fittings Ltd is a manufacturer of 'customised
investment coatings' - beautiful and functional bollards, fairleads and
mast fittings for super yachts and other high class vessels. The company
originated from the creative skills of Ray Haydon.<br>
Ray's interest in sculpture began with sculptures of the human form, portrait
heads and decorative sculptures. The most high profile of these are the
Lions on the gate posts of the Lion Breweries Head Office in Khyber Pass,
Auckland.<br>
A lifetime of yachting experience led Ray to the application of his skill
as a craftsman-sculptor to the creation and manufacture of marine fittings.<br>
Moulds are taken from the boats themselves or from plans and cast in a
ceramic shell. Ray has developed a process whereby the casting can be
hollow, creating lightness without compromising strength. The designs
require specialist tools which have been developed by the company.Elliptical
Tube Bends<br>

Sculptured marine Fittings Ltd has developed a unique process for the
production of elliptical tube bends. All products are made from 316 stainless
steel castings ISO 9001 approved.<br>
The elliptical bends are hollow investment castings with a bead blasted
finish. They are designed to be attached to elliptical tube by welding
and finished to match by a fabricator.<br>
Any size and radius of elliptical tube bends are possible. Due to the
large range of elliptical tube sizes and shapes, it may be necessary to
supply a sample. We are also able to produce small runs where complex
shapes are required.</p>
<p class="smf1">Sculptured Bollards<br>

Available in three attractive styles and in three different sizes. They
are made in 316 stainless steel and mirror polished to the highest standard;
the fastening positions are drilled and tapped.<br>
High Profile style is suitable for large motor and sailing yachts. They
have a hollow construction with six bolt positions in sizes 700 x 200mm,
550 x 170mm, 350 x 130mm.<br>
Maltese Cross style is suitable for large motor and sailing yachts. They
have a hollow construction with four bolt positions in sizes 430 x 370mm,
330 x 300mm, 250 x 180mm.<br>
Low Profile streamline style is suitable for large motor and sailing yachts.
These have solid construction with two bolt positions in sizes 650 x 120mm,
500 x 100mm, 300 x 80mm.<br>
