Sassafras

Built in Holland. This boat has an alloy hull and there was no protection for the finish from the rubbing of the mooring lines around the fairleads through the hull.

Ray's brief was to design and produce four fairleads for each side of the boat, the standard of design and workmanship to be equal to that of the rest of the boat. Each fairlead was unique and different. Ray visited the boat and took patterns from which the moulds were made to create the castings.
